This natural swimming pool was built for the Fiorinsieme exhibition in Piazza Loggia (Brescia) in 2009.
In our stand, we wanted to present something that could be installed on a roof garden or terrace: a little above-ground pool for relaxing dips, complete with a sun deck.
We created a natural swimming pool with an attractive modern design.
The pool is lit up at night by two underwater LED spotlights and little LEDs around the edge of the exotic wood decking.
The filter area is home to Iris pseudacorus, Zantedeschia, Pontederia and various shore plants.
Running around the outline are two strips of grey granite with very small white stones between them that not only brighten up the design but also enable overflowing water to be recovered.
The moving water caught the eyes of numerous visitors to the exhibition, who were very impressed with the original, green idea of a natural pool and how it worked. The little eco-friendly gem also looks enchanting at night.
The light structure means that the natural swimming pool has a very low overall weight and it can be fitted on a roof garden or terrace.
